Marlene

Marlene is an occupational therapist passionate about helping her patients achieve their goals of living pain-free, active lives. She has a special interest in women’s health, particularly in empowering women and supporting postpartum mothers as they return to the activities they love.

After having her own children and working in a variety of corporate roles, Marlene was inspired to pursue more meaningful work that aligned with her values and love of helping others. This motivation led her to earn her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. The field perfectly combines her curiosity, creativity, and compassion for people.

Marlene’s personal experiences have deeply shaped her professional journey. Having witnessed pelvic health challenges in her own family, her mother and grandmother both underwent hysterectomies due to pelvic organ prolapse, and experiencing similar symptoms herself after childbirth, she developed a strong desire to empower women through pelvic floor therapy. This passion led her to specialize in women’s health and pelvic rehabilitation.

As a proud mom of four girls, Marlene is especially devoted to helping women feel confident, strong, and supported through every stage of life. Originally from Miami, she moved to Orlando during her final internship in occupational therapy school and decided to make it home. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting theme parks, playing board games, and working toward her life goal of exploring every U.S. national park.
