Meet
Dr. Allie

As a student intern in a pelvic floor clinic, Dr. Allie quickly realized that this was the work she was meant to do. She loved helping women with pelvic pain find solutions and achieve their goals. Over the next 11 years she went on to take an array of advanced courses, consume as much research as possible, and treat some of the most complicated pelvic pain cases.

Several years into her career Dr. Allie experienced a traumatic delivery of her first child. Navigating the postpartum world and the healthcare system after giving birth was an incredible challenge for her, despite being in the field. She decided that there were not enough healthcare providers coming alongside pregnant and postpartum moms with accurate and supportive information. She began an intensive training program and in 2019 achieved a certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is passionate about helping pregnant and postpartum moms navigate through this time without pain or dysfunction.

Dr. Allie helps women on their journey to greater function and less pain. She prides herself on providing compassionate, trauma- informed care and making each patient feel comfortable and valued. She has studied the field of pelvic floor physical therapy extensively.

Dr. Allie received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2011. She immediately began her career as a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist. She has worked in clinics in Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina gaining specialized training and mentorship in the treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, lymphedema and breast cancer management, pediatric pelvic floor dysfunction, and visceral manipulaion along the way.

Allie relocated to Florida in 2019 and opened Anchor Pelvic Physical Therapy in 2021. She lives in Winter Park with her husband and four children. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, being involved in her church community, long walks and an excellent cup of coffee.

Dr. Allie is a compassionate therapist who uses her specialized training and evidenced-based practice to create individualized treatment programs that focus on the whole person. She is here to support you in your journey. !

Meet
Dina, MPT

Dina has over 23 years of experience as a physical therapist. She has a strong orthopedic and neuro background and fell in love with pelvic floor therapy after taking her first course many years ago. As a twin mom who had her own postpartum struggles, she knew she found her calling treating pelvic floor conditions. She treats an array of pelvic health conditions and is especially passionate about helping women with pelvic pain. She strives to provide empathetic, evidence-based care, and create a treatment plan individualized to each patient.

The most rewarding thing about her job is helping women get their lives back and achieve their highest level of function. She is honored to be able to provide life-changing care to women who are often hesitant to seek out care.

Dina graduated with her Bachelor of Physical Therapy in 1999 and Masters of Physical Therapy from Cairo University in 2008. Dina is a lifelong learner and has taken an array of continuing education training. She has advanced training in manual therapy and visceral release. She has completed coursework in the evaluation and treatment of patients with urinary and fecal incontinence, prolapse, constipation, and pelvic pain. She treats a variety of pregnancy and postpartum conditions and completed a special course for treating diastasis recti from Bellies Inc. Most recently, Dina completed a course on treating oncology and pelvic floor conditions and lymphatic drainage of the pelvis.

Dina has dreamed of living in Florida for many years and finally relocated to the area in 2022 from Canada. Living here is a “dream come true” and we are so excited to have her at Anchor Pelvic Physical Therapy. Dina lives in Lake Mary with her husband. She loves to be outdoors and do yoga. She is active in her church community and is a trained opera singer. One of her greatest joys is cheering on her twin boys on the soccer field at UCF. Go Knights!!!
