Dr. Taylor

Dr. Taylor is a pelvic floor physical therapist with an extensive background in orthopedic rehab and manual therapy. She was inspired to transition into practicing in pelvic health during her first pregnancy when she experienced firsthand the positive impact that pelvic floor physical therapy made on her pregnancy, labor/delivery preparedness, and especially her postpartum recovery.

She felt fortunate that she had knowledge of pelvic floor physical therapy as a resource during and after pregnancy, but by working with patients in other settings, she noticed that not everyone is aware of the many ways it can help them.

She made it a mission of hers to not only raise awareness and broaden the discussion about pelvic floor physical therapy, but advocate for its place routinely in women’s health.

Dr. Taylor completed her undergraduate education at the University of Central Florida and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. She pursued additional education and training in pelvic health, allowing her to treat pelvic health related concerns such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, pain with intimacy, pelvic floor dysfunction, and several other symptoms and conditions. Additionally, she earned a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise specialist certification in order to guide and support women in safe exercise through all phases of their pre- and postnatal journey.

She looks forward to furthering her pelvic health education with advanced coursework in the field. She enjoys the opportunities to expand her knowledge by completing continuing education courses, and by staying up to date on current research to deliver high-quality care.

Embracing her new role in motherhood while navigating her own healing made her realize what a uniquely vulnerable and beautifully difficult time that postpartum is, and she strives to create a welcoming and safe space to help women thrive during this special phase of their lives. She loves getting to help her patients achieve their goals and live their life without pain.

Dr. Taylor is a Florida native and lives in the North Orlando area with her husband and son. In her free time she enjoys traveling, watching football, reading, wine tasting, and spending time with her family and friends.
